The Old City is a city within a city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Passing through its ancient walls, you will find yourself in the atmosphere of the Middle Ages with narrow streets where even locals sometimes get lost. You will see the Maiden Tower, Palace of the Shirvanshahs, mosques, caravanserais, Market Square, traditional hammams and many other attractions. And if you say the words “Damn it”, you might even fall into the hands of Baku’s smugglers
